Emerging Professional I  (Full-Time)

BA is an architecture and interior design firm that is a leader in healthcare, life sciences, workplace, and early learning facilities. We provide architecture and interior design services from thriving offices in Boulder, Charlotte, Dallas, Irvine, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Sacramento, Seattle and San Francisco.

We are seeking a full-time emerging professional to join our Boulder team. This person will help design and document a variety of healthcare project types in all phases from programming through construction administration. Top candidates will be comfortable using computational design tools to drive project design and production. They will be looking for an open office environment with long-term career potential and will be eager to learn quickly and progress in their careers.

Duties & Responsibilities:

* Prepare design studies

* Plan and execute work as a reliable, integral member of a project team

* Coordinate work with consultants, clients, and regulatory agencies

* Develop project documentation in Revit

* Perform construction administration duties

Required Experience:

* College degree in an architecture or design-related field

* 6 months of relevant professional experience

* At least 6 months of Revit experience

* Attention to detail and a strong desire to understand how buildings go together

* Self-motivated and able to problem-solve independently

* Accountable and results-oriented

Preferred Experience:

* Professional degree in architecture

* Proficiency in computational design software such as Grasshopper, Dynamo, Excel, etc.

* Healthcare project experience

* Knowledge of sustainable design practices

* Commitment to promoting equitable, diverse, and inclusive business practices

Physical requirements needed to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation:

* Ability to operate a keyboard, mouse, phone and perform repetitive motion (keyboard); writing (notetaking); reading and analyzing written material

* Ability to sit for long periods; stand, sit, reach, bend, lift up to thirty (30) lbs

* Ability to express or exchange ideas to impart information to the public and internal employees and to convey detailed instructions accurately and quickly

The MINIMUM salary for this non-exempt position is equivalent to an annual salary of $50,000.00, depending on experience.
