Design Visualization Specialist (Full-Time)

We are seeking a full-time Design Visualization Specialist to join our Design Technology team based out of the Boulder office. This person would support the firm-wide effort to develop high-end renderings and various graphic representations of project work to support the storytelling of our designs and user experience.
The Design Visualization Specialist will be responsible for creating high-quality renderings and visualizations to support the design and presentation of architectural projects. This role requires an artistic eye, a strong understanding of architectural design, and proficiency in various rendering software. The ideal candidate will have a passion for transforming architectural concepts into compelling visual representations.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Collaborate firm-wide with architects, designers, and project managers to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Create architectural renderings and graphics of projects, including interiors, exteriors, and landscape elements in various realistic and non-realistic styles.
• Develop 3D models from architectural drawings and sketches using industry-standard software.
• Apply textures, lighting, and other visual effects to enhance the realism and impact of renderings and graphics.
• Assist with the management of firm-wide rendering assets and standards.
• Some travel may be required (Potentially 1 - 6 overnight trips per year).
Required Experience:
• 2-4 years’ experience as a Visualization Specialist, 3D Visualizer, or similar role in an architecture or design firm.
• Advanced skills in 3D architectural modeling software including Revit, SketchUp, and Rhino3D.
• Advanced skills in rendering software including Enscape, Lumion, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of architectural design principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong artistic sense.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Portfolio showcasing previous rendering work is required.
Preferred Experience:
• Degree in Architecture, Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
• Knowledge of AI rendering tools and processes.
• Proficient in composing video flythroughs and animations.
• Proficient in VR tools and presentations.
• Experience with Unreal or Unity development.
Physical requirements needed to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation:

• Ability to sit for long periods; stand, sit, reach, bend, lift up to thirty (30) lbs

The MINIMUM salary for this position is equivalent to an annual salary of $60,000, depending on experience.
