Available Positions > Job Description Financial Assistant I (Full Time) Financial Assistant I Finance Department, Accounting Division Full-time, non-exempt, 35 hours per week
STARTING RATE: $27.56/hour POSITION RANGE: $27.56-$31.66/hour
POSITION OVERVIEW & REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: The skills and knowledge required would generally be acquired with a high school education with course work in Commercial Arithmetic or Bookkeeping and 4 years of responsible clerical bookkeeping experience, or a Bachelor’s Degree in lieu of experience or an Associate’s Degree with 2 years’ experience. The following experience is preferred: operation of financial and/or purchasing software, processing and responsible decision making with accounts payable and receivable, experience in reconciliation, and coursework or training in accounting or bookkeeping.
