Commercial Loan Documentation Manager  (Full Time)
Location: Lincoln, NE

This position is responsible for all aspects of documenting, closing and funding loan transactions, including managing the processes, systems, and personnel associated with the loan documentation and closing functions.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee the documentation process for commercial loan applications
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies
  • Collaborate with lending team to gather necessary information and documentation
  • Manage a team of documentation specialists to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and professional growth
  • Develop and implement streamlined processes to improve documentation workflow
  • Administration of and proficiency in core Loan Operating Systems and enhancement of related vendor relationships
  • Provide strategic vision for the department and Bank working from an abundance mindset

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Communicate and collaborate with other departments and business units on common vision, goals, projects, and objectives
  • Attend related professional and industry conferences and training
  • Remain informed of changes in bank policies, procedures and products
  • Remain informed of existing and proposed lending related compliance regulations
  • Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisor
  • Embrace and promote the Bank’s core values and 360 model

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  • Minimum of 5 years banking experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and loan documentation
  • Proficiency with Loan Operating Systems and Software, preferably Wolters Kluwers
  • Possess strong analytical skills and sound judgment
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Demonstrate high degree of self-motivation and initiative
  • Independent decision making
