The pay for this position is $17.00-18.00/hour.Additionally, employees receive a $2.50shift differential for hours worked Friday evening through Monday morning.

+ Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED required
No experience necessary! As long as you have a heart and the ability to show compassion, we will train you upon hire
Any certifications necessary for the job will be paid for and coordinated through Benedictine
+ Key Responsibilities
Provide supervision and appropriate behavior management to assigned individuals
Participate in recreation/leisure activities with the people we support. Engage with individuals throughout your shift
Teach and assist the individuals in personal hygiene and daily living skills. This may include assisting with toileting, bathing and feeding
Teach and assist individuals based on their personal goals and objectives
Record and maintain individual logs (for activities and behaviors), progress notes and all other documentation as required
May administer medical and first aid, or assist with transportation

Full time, Monday - Friday 6am-8am and4pm-9pm
Day, evening
Short (2-5 hour)
Overtime expectations
Overtime is not required but is regularly available and much appreciated. Any employee can request extra hours, regardless of seniority

Travel requirements
Positons working with the adult community require you to have a relatively clean driving record as transporting individuals may be required. We have Benedictine vehicles to use for transportation purposes, use of your own vehicle is not required. If authorized to use your own vehicle for work related purposes, Benedictine pays $0.67/mile for reimbursement.
