The pay for this position is$46,646.00 to $54,420.00 /year.

+ Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree with accounting course(s) highly preferred; or commensurate experience
1 year minimum of experience in Finance or Accounting
Audit experience preferred, non-profit experience a PLUS
+ Key Responsibilities
Ensure the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating and entering transactions
Cross train with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, and other members of the department as needed
In accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and internal processes and procedures, prepare general ledger journal entries using Sage 100 software to record monthly and yearend closing entries, such as Merchant and Bank Fees, Accruals, Allocations, etc.
File and maintain all journal entries and supporting documentation
Record non routine journal entries as requested by team members

Hours of work
Full time: Monday - Friday 8am-4pm (hours may vary)
40 hours (exempt)
Overtime expectations
Overtime is not required but is regularly available and much appreciated. Any employee can request extra hours, regardless of seniority
