Located on the Eastern Shore of Maryland (Ridgely); An easy 35-40 minute commute from Dover, DE, Bridgeville, DE, and Trappe, MD, and roughly 45 minutes from the Bay Bridge.

+ Education and Experience
Bachelors degree in a human services or related field plus 3 years of experience in the area of autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities required; OR Associate degree plus 5 years of experience as noted above required.
Prior experience working with the individuals aged 5-21 with developmental disabilities required.
Must have at least three (3) years of staff supervisory experience.
+ Key Responsibilities
Supervise full and part time Residential Direct Service Providers (DSP) and Shift Supervisors for assigned suites/ homes;
Schedule staff for assigned suites/ homes.
Hire staff as needed to meet optimal staffing levels.
Monitor new hire training and performance.
Complete 90-day performance evaluations for new hires, and annual performance evaluations for residential care providers.
Manage on-going employee performance, including staff disciplinary actions with corrective action plans, suspension, and/ or termination of employment when necessary.
Role model appropriate social behaviors and relationships.
Identify staff training needs and coordinate activities to build skills.
Conduct routine meetings with staff.
Manage the overall cleanliness, organization, and quality of physical facilities for assigned areas.
Conduct routine audits of assigned areas, and students rooms, and take corrective action as necessary.
Collaborate with Residential Case Manager or AW Coordinator for all students in assigned suites/ homes;
Participate in drafting and implementing residential goals as part of the students annual service plans.
Collaborate with school staff on individual student needs, progress, and plans of action.
Review logs and data sheets with staff and plan appropriate actions to ensure student success.
Write quarterly progress reports for students that are related to student data.
Assist with programming for students in assigned areas identified as 365.
Establish and maintain positive relationships with parents
Communicate with parents on a regular basis.
Investigate all parent concerns/ complaints and take appropriate action to resolve any issues.
Inform Residential Administrator of all parent concerns.

Hours of work
Full time, Monday - Friday 11a-7p, hours will vary based on the needs of the program
Overtime expectations
This is an exempt level position.
Work environment
Ridgely Campus and/or Group Home Setting.
Travel requirements
Provide transportation utilizing Benedictine fleet vehicles.
On-call responsibilities
Rotate weekend on-call requirements and some on-call requirements during normal residential hours may be required.
