Located on the Eastern Shore of Maryland; An easy 35-40 minute commute from Dover, DE, Bridgeville, DE, and Trappe, MD, and roughly 45 minutes from the Bay Bridge.

+ Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED plus a minimum of three years Human Services experience required.
Must have valid drivers license and cleaning driving record.
Any certifications necessary for the job will be paid for and coordinated through Benedictine
+ Key Responsibilities
Develop groups and programs in consideration of the needs, goals, abilities and interests of the people supported.
Initiate and plan the Monthly Master calendar in conjunction with Supervisors, Discovery/Resource Specialist, Job Developers, and Program Coordinators and others.
Develop more specific weekly activity calendars.
Create, plan and facilitate larger special events geared toward full inclusion of people supported and staff. This may include securing approval, arranging logistics, eliciting participation to include staff buy-in, arranging finances and supplies needed, etc.
Communicate to all stakeholders appropriately about the events and activities planned to include the development of promotional materials and flyers, and email distribution lists.
Build and maintain a teamwork atmosphere that is inclusive and supportive of staff and their abilities to create programming activities.
Develop and maintain a professional network of community partners to assist us in all areas of support, this includes employers, training partners, therapists and therapy programs, volunteer opportunities, community based contacts, and more.

Hours of work
Full time
Day shift, Monday through Friday, 8am-4pm
Overtime expectations
Overtime is not required but is regularly available and much appreciated. Any employee can request extra hours, regardless of seniority
Work environment
Mostly an office setting.
Travel requirements
Minimal, if at all.
On-call responsibilities
Not required for this position.
