Summary Assigns cranes, trucks, equipment and drivers for crane rental or conveyance of freight by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
a. Understands and complies with CSE, Inc. Safety Program, rules, regulations, and updates.
b. Understands OSHA and DOT standards and works within regulations; completes IFTA paperwork
c. Compiles list of cranes, trucks, and equipment; assigns cranes, trucks and equipment according to factors such as capacity and type of lift, driver/operator skill and experience, freight or job requirements, and preference of customer in order to safely perform service.
d. Drafts lifts on paper to determine capacities and creates daily job tickets.
e. Issues keys, record sheets, and credentials to drivers; investigates overdue vehicles.
f. Records time of departure, destination, cargo, rigging, directions, and expected time of return; maintains record of mileage, fuel used, repairs made, and other expenses.
g. Directs activities of operators and drivers in person by radio or cell phone.
h. Takes customer calls for service and expedites the requests based on project requirements.
i. Expedites billing process and makes collection calls on past due accounts.
j. Establishes service or delivery routes; assigns helpers to drivers; conducts safety meetings.
k. Assumes responsibility for direction and coordination of department/division to attain corporate goals and objectives.
l. Coordinates and delegates works assignments and equipment.
m. Available to work long hours and answer calls on weekends and holidays
Supervisory Responsibilities: Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Responsibilities also include interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, directing work, and appraising performance.

Education and/or Experience: Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills: Knowledge of Contact Management systems; Database software; Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Valid Driver's License.
Other Qualifications: Must be able to travel. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
