FACILITIES TECHNICIAN II (18 YEARS OR OLDER) (Full Time)

Starting wage $25.43 Per Hour
POSITION SUMMARY:
Maintains overall integrity of the facility and outbuildings. Duties may include repair, maintenance or new construction involving plumbing, carpentry, electrical, mechanical, concrete, or HVAC equipment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Performs tasks as assigned.
Assures quality guest service to patrons during scheduled shift.
Adheres to all company Policies and Procedures.
Communicates any observed departmental problems to supervisor.
Maintain and repair equipment and buildings by performing a variety of semi-skilled electrical, plumbing, heating and air conditioning and mechanical repair work.
Repair and replace plumbing fixtures including sinks, toilets, faucets and pipes; clear obstructions from lines.
Perform basic carpentry work including repairing of cabinets, partitions, walls, windows, doors.
Inspect building facilities to identify building maintenance needs and safety issues.
Maintain and repair a variety of floor coverings such as carpeting, tile, VCT and wood.
Operate, maintain and repair a variety of mechanical tools and equipment such as power saws, power sanders, drills, air compressors, sewer augers, and various hand tools required for basic electrical, basic plumbing, and maintenance work.
Grounds maintenance activities.
Read and interpret sketches, diagrams and blueprints.
Repair and maintain electrical lighting systems and fixtures.
Monitor and maintain preventive maintenance records and logs
.
May perform custodial duties.
Performs other related duties and responsibilities as required.

EDUCATION:
High School Graduate or GED. Additional specialized technical education in construction trades is desirable.
TRAINING AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Three to seven years related experience.
