HOST/HOSTESS CASHIER (Full Time)
Department: Food and Beverage
STARTING WAGE: $16.45 PER HOUR
POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible to provide information and control flow of guests through restaurant and take reservations. Handle all cash transaction by using a Point of Sale System.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Include the following (other duties may be assigned):
Seat guests; keep floor plan updated, bar transfers, estimate waiting period.
Answer telephones and provide information, including booking and confirming reservations and taking accurate to go orders.
Greeting, thanking and saying goodbye to all guests to impress a friendly, warm, and professional atmosphere.
Assure completion of duties listed on weekly cleaning list.
Maintain open communication with service staff and management.
Monitor health and safety procedures for the department.
Performs other duties as directed by the FOH Supervisor.
Perform all cash transaction in compliance with Cash Handling Procedures.

EDUCATION:
High school diploma or GED with restaurant experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
TRAINING AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Six months cash handling experience preferred.
