ACT Nurse Manager (4238)  (Full Time)

RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists in ensuring the day to day operations of the ACT program, staff training and supervision, including selection, performance evaluations and discipline of selected ACT Team members; is responsible for conducting psychiatric assessments; assessing physical health needs; making appropriate referrals to community physicians; providing management and administration of medication in conjunction with the psychiatrist/nurse practitioner; providing of a range of treatment, rehabilitation, and support services; and sharing shift-management responsibility with other staff; provides direct case management services to individuals, conducts medication education, and performs necessary documentation; assists individuals with weekly medication bag/box fills; delivers medications to the homes of individuals per morning/evening medication runs on a rotating basis; assumes the role of team leader in absence of ACT Coordinator.

REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Requirements

M1: Completion of educational requirements for Registered Nurse with a valid RN license to practice in VA

M2: Valid drivers license and safe driving record
M3: Experience with crisis intervention
M4: At least one year of experience working with individuals with serious mental illness

Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and central registry (CANIS) report will be required upon request. Our Agency maintains a drug-free workplace.

ANNUAL SALARY RANGE
$63,706 - $111,486
