RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for ensuring the day-to-day operations of the case management program, staff training and supervision including selection, performance evaluations, and discipline and providing direct supervision to assigned case managers and mental health support staff; supervises and provides assessment, linkage, counseling, and advocacy services to seriously mentally ill and co-occurring adults, in vivo at a level of intensity necessary to promote consumer empowerment and reduce the need for inpatient treatment; develops and implements individual services plans; engages in predischarge planning at state psychiatric facilities; provides support services to caregivers; participates as an Intensive Community Services team member; completes required documentation as prescribed by licensure, Medicaid, managed care groups or other third party payers with regards to clinical services and medical records keeping; and complies with all regulations applicable to program services.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Requirements
M1: Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, vocational rehabilitation, counseling, or other VA DMAS approved Human Services degree
OR
Certified psychiatric rehabilitation practitioner in Virginia
M2: At least one year of clinical experience within the past seven years providing mental health services
M3: Must meet Medicaid requirements for Qualified Mental Health Provider
M4: Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and central registry (CANIS) report will be required upon request. Our Agency maintains a drug-free workplace.
ANNUAL SALARY RANGE
$46,005 - $80,509
