POSITION SUMMARY
The Final/Receiving Inspector will inspect products and materials for defects or deviations from specifications.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The Final/Receiving Inspector will perform the following:
- Read blueprints and specifications
- Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced
- Measure products with rulers, calipers, gauges, micrometers, tape measure, or Pi Tape
- Accept or reject finished product or Raw Material items
- Remove all products and materials that fail to meet specifications
- Discuss inspection results with Dept. Supervisors, Area Leaders and Dept. Engineer
- Report inspection and test data as needed. Enter into NC Log datebase
- Follow all Work instructions for performing Final Inspections criteria and Non-conforming product
- Print material certifications for customer orders as required
- Prepare all necessary shipment paperwork as required
- Performs additional training duties as requested
- Package orders for customer shipments as required
- Use Forklift/Tow Motor to move shipments and raw material as needed
- Ability to react to change productively and handle other essential takas as assigned.
- Qualified for PMI inspection. Print PMI reports
- Receiving inspection of components from suppliers using various measuring instruments and prints, specifications and quality documents
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to understand and follow English instructions
- Inspect all products to Work Instructions
- Utilizes RFA to offer ideas and solutions with involvements from Plant Management Team

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to bend squat, stoop, twist, and kneel.
- Ability to use hand tools
- Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Must pass Vision Acuity Test
