Automation Technician  (Full Time)

Our state-of-the-art facility utilizes cutting-edge automation technology to streamline processes and meet the evolving needs of our clients. We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team and ensure the smooth operation of our automated systems.

Position Overview:
As an Automation Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing the automated machinery and equipment within our warehouse facility. You will be responsible for conducting routine inspections, diagnosing malfunctions, performing repairs, and implementing preventive maintenance measures to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Routine Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of automated systems, including conveyors, sorting machines, robotic arms, and other equipment, to identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
  2. Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software-related malfunctions in automation equipment using diagnostic tools, schematics, and manuals.
  3. Repair and Replacement: Perform necessary repairs, adjustments, or component replacements to restore functionality and ensure optimal performance of automated systems.
  4. Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and procedures to proactively identify and address wear and tear, prolonging the lifespan of automation equipment and reducing the risk of unexpected failures.
  5. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including work performed, parts replaced, and maintenance schedules, to track equipment history and facilitate future maintenance efforts.
  6. Collaboration: Coordinate with warehouse supervisors, operations managers, and other team members to prioritize maintenance tasks, minimize disruptions to operations, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  7. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains in automation systems and collaborate with engineering and technology teams to implement enhancements and upgrades.
  8. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance activities, including lockout/tagout procedures, equipment isolation, and personal protective equipment (PPE) usage.
