Position Overview:Unit Clerks serve as the unit's primary receptionist, providing excellent professional and courteous service via the phone and in-person. Unit Clerk duties include:
- Maintain daily sign-in sheets, explain basic program procedures surrounding scheduling, or documentation and making changes when required. Collect basic demographic information of participants; verify client insurance eligibility, assist with registration, form completion, etc.
- Coordinate with unit leadership or staff to receive, maintain and/or distribute resources available for clients.
- Maintain practitioner schedule, enter notes into electronic health records for billing purposes. Scan/upload documents to electronic record system, or related client records.
- Gather documents for reimbursements, maintain/update vehicle assignments and unit activity /usage reports.
- Copy, collate and otherwise coordinate documents; pick up, sort and distribute faxes/mail.
- Maintain the office supply, anticipate needs and replenish as needed.
- Provide back-up support across behavioral health units.

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1- year serving as a receptionist or providing clerical-based customer service to the public.
- Agility in using standard computer programs (MS Office, Outlook) and multi-line phone systems.
- Basic grasp of the rules of writing & grammar
- Experience in the healthcare or behavioral health industries preferred.
Schedule: Full-time; Mon-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm
Location: Center City Philadelphia, accessible to SEPTA and Regional Rail
