We are currently seeking a Pharmacist for NMC Health. In this role, you will monitor drug therapy for contraindications, incompatibilities, allergies, drug-drug interactions, and appropriate dosing based on patient specific parameters. In addition, perform pharmacokinetic consultations, order the appropriate labs, and adjust drug regimens as needed. Additionally, you should be able to demonstrate the ability to monitor and adjust patients' intravenous nutritional needs, order labs and adjust TPN formula appropriately, as well as provide clinical drug therapy information and consult providers as appropriate.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and experience:

• Graduate of a School of Pharmacy (Pharm D or BS Pharm) accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE)
• Hospital pharmacy experience preferred

Knowledge, skills, & abilities:

• Ability to read and interpret C&S reports, making appropriate antibiotic therapeutic changes per the antibiotic stewardship guidelines
• Able to be on-call and respond back to the hospital on evenings, nights and weekends

Licensure, registration and certification:

• Licensed (in good standing) in the State of Kansas to practice pharmacy
