We are currently seeking a Technical Professional Coordinator for our Laboratory Department. In this role, you will contribute to equipment selection, validation implementation and maintenance, operator education, quality assurance processes and maintaining appropriate documentation. Additional responsibilities include performing laboratory professional duties.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a biological or chemical science, or a degree in Medical/Clinical Laboratory Technology/Science
• Minimum of two years’ experience in a high complexity laboratory.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• Service-oriented individual with advanced responsibilities for one or more specialty/subspecialty areas and/or shift team coordination
• Demonstrates ability to identify problems, initiate actions for correction and evaluate effectiveness of actions taken
• Exhibits commitment to technical excellence and customer service
• Demonstrates knowledge of quality control and patient result management
• Demonstrates times management, organization and prioritizing skills
• Possess effective oral and written communication skills
• Willingly complies with regulatory requirements 

Licensure and certifications:

• Certification as MT, MLS, or MLT is required. Certification by American Society of Clinical Pathologist is preferred.
