We are currently seeking an X-Ray Technologist (PRN)in ourImaging Department. In this role, you will provide customer service with strong interpersonal skills for the purpose of delivering care and services to patients from diverse ethnic and social groups that is focused on the comfort and well-being for the patient and family. Independent decision making is expected in the execution of all duties. TheX-Ray Technicianmay be assigned to be in charge of a modality and able to delegate patient care assignments and duties based on the ability of co-workers; as well as be expected to perform in both the RT and CT role within the department.

The Registered Technologist will work under the supervision of the Imaging Department Medical Director.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience:

• Associates Degree Required
• 5-years with CT training preferred

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• Graduated from an Accredited Radiology Technologist Program
• Must utilize clinical skills and critical thinking to assess, plan, provide, delegate, supervise, manage, and elevate patient care.

Licensure, registration or certification:

• Level of knowledge equivalent to that ordinarily acquired through the completion of Registered ARRT Radiology and Kansas Licensure for Radiology Technologist or minimum of 5-years experience.
• BLS
