We are currently seeking a full-time Physician for our Emergency department to provide emergent care for the community and surrounding areas of Newton, Kansas.  We are an 11 bed Emergency Department within a 99-bed hospital in South Central Kansas.  Our emergency room services approximately 15,000 patients per year.  We invite you to become a part of a positive, upbeat work environment where you can expect to be heard, where you are positioned as a valued professional on the team, where we allow for career growth and above all, improve health!

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and experience:

• Graduate from an accredited School of Medicine
• Licensed in the State of Kansas by the Board of Healing Arts
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience, preferred
• Completion of a recognized emergency medicine residency, preferred
• Board Certification - Emergency Medicine desired

Work Schedule and Key Responsibilities

• Three (3) Twelve-hour (12) shifts per calendar week, to include alternating weekends
