We are currently seeking a Registrar for our Patient Access department.  In this role, you will be the first face that our patients see as they enter our hospital and along their healthcare journey. This role needs a person who is motivated, a self-starter and able to work various shifts.  The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, as well as with peers, able to check in patients in a timely and accurate manner, able to research accounts for missing or inaccurate patient and/or insurance information and explain payment collection policies for services provided.  If you are a highly professional healthcare individual who possesses all these qualities, or more, we strongly encourage you to apply.

Currently seeking a (F/T) evening position.  Hours vary:  1:00 pm to 9:30 pm and 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm as well as 1 to 2 weekends per month.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Medical terminology course preferred
• Previous healthcare experience preferred but will train the right person too

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• Detail Oriented
• Must be able to multitask in fast paced environments
