We are currently seeking an Inpatient Therapy Supervisor for our Inpatient Therapy Department. In this role,you will provide department level leadership and oversee daily workflow and organizational elements of the department. The Inpatient Therapy Supervisor will assist the director in leading the department through achievement of departmental and hospital wide goals. In addition, you will support the department by providing therapy examination, treatment, and other clinical services, as well as assists the director in the operational aspects of the department.

This position reports to the Director of Outpatient Services

This position is hourly (non-exempt).

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and experience:

• Clinic Degree in Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy fields
• Bachelors Degree, Masters Degree, or Clinical Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy Occupational Therapy
• At least 2 years of clinical experience in Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• Skills in performing multifaced projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities, interpersonal relationships with the ability to get along with diverse personalities and ability to be tactful, mature, and flexible required
• Skills in reasoning, problem-solving, making effective decisions and using sound judgment required
• Skills in time management with the ability to work interdependently and take initiative required
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing required
• Ability to use tact, diplomacy and professionalism in all aspects of the position required
• Computer keyboard and basic computer operating knowledge required; experience with Microsoft Office products and software relevant to duties preferred

Licensure, registration or certification:

• Must maintain current registration/licensure in the State of Kansas in good standing in Physical Therapist (PT) or Occupational Therapy (OTR)
