Registered Nurse (Wound Care)  (Part Time)

We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Wound Care Department. In this role, you will provide professional nursing care to patients which includes the comprehensive assessment of patient and family needs, planning, coordination, teaching, counseling, and direct physical care. Evaluation of patient response to care and progress toward outcomes is an essential aspect of the care provision. Assists other personnel providing delegated aspects of care. Perform other related duties as assigned. Functions as a member of the interdisciplinary team.

This position reports to the Wound Care Nursing Supervisor for tasks and daily operations and the Director of Outpatient Services for other functions.

This position is hourly (non-exempt)

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and experience:

• Associate degree (ADN) from an ACEN or CCNE accredited school of nursing or diploma in nursing required
• Bachelor's degree (BSN) from ACEN or CCNE accredited school of nursing preferred

Licensure, registration and certification:

• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Kansas
• Certification in CPR/Basic Life Support
• Additional certifications may be necessary, dependent on the unit assigned
