Registered Nurse (Case Manager)  (Full Time)
Location: Medical Center - 600 Medical Center Drive, Newton, KS, 67114
Category: CASE MGMT

The Case Manager RN will be responsible for assessing and coordinating patient care across the continuum, utilizing accepted criteria and guidelines to manage benefits and determine medical necessity of services provided. This position will function as a clinician, case manager, and educator to achieve optimal clinical and quality outcomes by effectively managing care and resources to reduce unnecessary utilization.

This position reports to the Executive Director of Clinical Outcomes.

This position is hourly, non-exempt.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and experience:

• Bachelor's degree in nursing is desired.
• 3-5 years of hospital experience, including experience in Case Management or related field, is preferred.

Licensure, registration and certification:

• BLS certification required
• Must have proof of maintenance of current licensure in the State of Kansas or Multi-State License.
