Position Description:Under the supervision of the Assistant Director Digital Strategy, in collaboration with other offices of the USCCB, the Digital Media Specialist is a practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church who assists in executing a digital media strategy for the USCCB that encourages a pro-active engagement across digital media channels. The Digital Media Specialist provides the Assistant Director ongoing support, advice, consultation and resources regarding digital media strategies for bishops and USCCB offices and programs. Contributes to the Bishops strategic plan for the Conference. Demonstrates willingness and ability to understand, respect and contribute to the USCCB mission and to fulfill job duties in accordance with its Catholic identity.
Requirements:
Educational Level: Bachelors degree
Major Field/Specialty: Communications or related field
Foreign Language Requirement (if any):Fluency in Spanish and working knowledge of Italian, highly desirable.
Other Specialized Training: (i.e. word processing, personal computer, knowledge of Catholic Church, etc.)

Number of Years Required: A minimum of 2-3 years of communications experience
