Position Description:
The Communications Assistant provides administrative support to the Department of Communications and supports the Chief Communications Officer and Assistant Director, Project Management in the work of the Catholic Communication Campaign (CCC). The Communications Assistant contributes to the Bishops strategic plan for the Conference. He/she demonstrates willingness and ability to understand, respect and contribute to the USCCB mission and to fulfill job duties in accordance with its Catholic identity.
Requirements:
Educational Level: H.S. diploma required; some college coursework helpful
Foreign Language Requirement: (if any) None, but Spanish helpful
Other Specialized Training: (i.e. word processing, personal computer, knowledge of Catholic Church, etc.)
Type and Nature of Professional Experience:
Number of Years Required: A minimum of 4-5 years of related experience
