Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift - (1101-A) (Full Time)

Position Summary
Responsible for the diagnosis, repair and preventive maintenance of CNC multi-axis machining equipment in a factory environment on first shift. Schedules and conducts TPMs on machines on a timely basis. Manages unplanned machine repairs and interfaces well with stakeholders, including employees, vendors and management. Identifies methods and solutions while providing maintenance know-how, mentoring and leadership in order to provide a high level of service and results.
Essential Functions
Identifies potential issues with machinery
Schedules and conducts preventive maintenance
Manages unplanned machine repair requests
Repairs or replaces machine parts as needed
Schedules and works with OEM repair personnel
Operates with a sense of urgency and a focus on safety
Communicates effectively with management, employees and vendors
Excellent attitude and teamwork
Experience and Education
A minimum of 3 years of work experience in an OEM service repair role or factory maintenance experience in a CNC machine environment
Experience in the mechanical, electrical or HVAC field
High school diploma or equivalent required
Degree/certificate from vocational school or college program is a plus, but experience may substitute for education
Competencies and Skills
Technical capacity in mechanical, electronic or HVAC systems
Diagnostic, problem-solving and analysis
Ability to read and understand equipment manuals
Knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures
Skilled with hand and power tools
Communication proficiency
Ability to work independently
Results-driven
Computer literacy
Supervisory Responsibility

Compensation
$40000 - $100000 / year
Compensation is paid hourly and may be adjusted based on level of experience, overtime and shift.
