Hotel Maintenance Supervisor  (Full Time)

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for general maintenance and repairs in guest rooms/suites, meeting spaces, restaurant and common areas including building interiors and exteriors and pool/spa facilities

DUTIES:

  • Responsible for scheduling engineering and maintenance operations for the hotel/lodge, hotel/lodge property, Lobby, meeting rooms, grounds, pool/spa and all associated facilities/venues.
  • Maintains guest rooms, public space, and back of the hotel areas in good repair by performing various tasks related to a variety of trades including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, air conditioning, painting, wall covering and tiling to ensure an attractive and well-maintained hotel.
  • Supports hotel departmental maintenance programs and executes daily, weekly and monthly checklists.
  • Ensures Guests requests are responded to according to four-diamond service standards
  • Performs and /or monitors maintenance and preventative maintenance projects.
  • Responds to all building related safety concerns.
  • Maintains departmental compliance with hotel maintenance procedures
  • Uses power and hand tools to perform repair and maintenance work.
  • Operates forklifts, scissor lifts, tractor, dollies and other basic loading and unloading equipment as required.
  • Drives vehicles to transport materials such as furniture, supplies or equipment as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Education: High School diploma, GED or Equivalency

2. Work Experience:

a. 3 years supervisory experience

b. 4 years resort hotel experience in facility/maintenance operations

c. Additional education and/or related work experience may substitute for the minimum requirements of this position.

3. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

a. Be familiar with operational use of a CMMS (computerized maintenance management system).

b. Knowledge of building and equipment maintenance/repair techniques.

4. Professional Licenses & Certifications Requirements: Pool/Spa Certification (CPO)

5. Be at least 18 years of age.

6. Participate and pass pre-employment drug screening and background investigation to obtain and maintain a valid Gaming License.
