Hotel Maintenance Engineer  (Full Time)

POSITION SUMMARY: Under direction from the Hotel Maintenance Supervisor, will be responsible for general maintenance and repairs in Guest rooms/suites, meeting spaces, restaurant and common areas including building interiors and exteriors and pool.

THESE WILL BE YOUR DUTIES:

Responsible for engineering and maintenance operations of the hotel/lodge, hotel/lodge property, restaurant, meeting rooms and grounds.

Responds to all building related safety concerns.

Supports hotel/lodge departmental maintenance programs and executes daily, weekly and monthly checklists.

Deals with Guest related concerns.

Maintains Guest rooms, public space, and back of the hotel areas in good repair by performing various tasks related to a variety of trades including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, air conditioning, painting, wall covering and tiling to ensure an attractive and well-maintained hotel.

Cleans and maintains pool and spa.

Operates forklifts, scissor lifts, tractor, dollies and other basic loading and unloading equipment as required.

Drives vehicles to transport materials such as furniture, supplies or equipment as required.

THESE ARE THE QUALIFICATIONS WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

1. Education: High School Diploma, GED or Equivalency

2. Work Experience: Three (3) years of resort or hotel maintenance experience

3. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

a. Knowledge of building and equipment maintenance/repair techniques.

b. Skill in applying building and equipment maintenance/repair techniques.

c. Ability to use power hand tools and equipment.

4. Professional Licenses & Certifications Requirements: Pool/Spa Certification (CPO)

5. Be at least 18 years of age.

6. Participate and pass pre-employment drug screening and background investigation to obtain and maintain a valid Gaming License.
