Automotive Parts Counterperson - Hyundai  (Full Time)

Classic Hyundai,inMentor, Ohioneeds to hire one experienced individual on a full-time basis.Hiring immediately.One year of recent experience in an automotive parts department is required, preferably with Hyundai parts experience - open to dealership (preferred) and parts store experience.Our department has just been remodeled and enlarged!

Starting salary:$50K

This is an excellent opportunity for someone working in an aftermarket situation who is looking for the move up to the dealership environment.

TheParts Counterpersonsells, at retail and wholesale, parts to all available customers, over the counter, through the shop, on the phone or via the internet. This is a full-time position requiring no less than forty (40) hours per week.

Duties & Responsibilities of theAutomotive Parts Counterperson-

• Assist customers in selecting required parts, suggest companion requirements, offer specials, and ensure the customer is exposed to the full product line;
• Pull purchased parts from stock;
• If part(s) is unavailable, determine availability and submit an emergency order if requested by the customer;
• Answer phone calls, providing price quotes and other information;
• Assist outside sales representatives with their orders;
• Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pickup;
• Verify "will call" and "back-order" files weekly and return to vendors, or stock those items not required.

Working Conditions -

This is a physically demanding position. Must be able to lift seventy-five pounds (75lbs) from the floor. Will move throughout the parts shelves all day, reaching and climbing to obtain parts from inventory. Will stand six to eight hours during a shift. When delivering parts to the service department, will be exposed to noise, dust, exhaust fumes and other hazardous and nonhazardous materials.
