Housekeeping Supervisor  (Full Time)
Department: Visual Display

Homemakers is looking to add to our Housekeeping team.  This person should take pride in keeping our store clean for customers and employees.

Pay: $18 per hour

Schedule: Will include one weekend day

 

Summary

This person is responsible for the cleanliness of their assigned area, ordering and receiving cleaning supplies and communications with staff. 

This person will lead the Housekeeping team, assist the team with cleaning duties, communicate schedule coverage, be a part of the interview process for hiring new Housekeepers, as well as disciplinary action.

 

Duties Housekeeping Supervisor

• The Supervisor will be cleaning bathrooms, breakrooms, and other areas with their team.
• Inventory control of cleaning supplies
• Ordering paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap and all cleaning supplies
• Receiving, checking in and paperwork for incoming supplies 
• Training of staff on proper use of equipment and supplies
• Communication to Housekeeping team of pertinent information.
• Additional duties including detailed cleaning and inspections.
• Storage rooms kept organized and properly stocked.
• Provides feedback to management regarding efficiencies, safety, productivity, etc.
• Follow all operational and safety procedures.
• The above responsibilities and additional duties may vary as assigned. 

Education/Work Experience

• High School or GED 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Detail oriented
• Ability to multitask
• Good communication skills
• Must be able to walk and stand for long periods
