Clinical Support Medical Assistant (Full Time)

Cardiovascular Medicine is seeking a motivated and team-oriented Certified Medical Assistant to join our growing Clinical Support Team in Davenport. If you're looking for a stable and rewarding career in healthcare—with great work-life balance—this could be the opportunity for you!
Clinical & Administrative Support
Work collaboratively with nurses and medical assistants to support provider practices
Manage provider schedules and coordinate patient appointments
Schedule tests and procedures as needed
Handle incoming and outgoing calls with professionalism
Process medication refills, prior authorizations, and patient assistance program requests
Documentation & Records
Document accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record (EMR)
Review incoming mail and route to appropriate physician or team
Complete FMLA and disability forms in a timely manner
Team Collaboration & Flexibility
Support daily clinic operations with a patient-centered focus
Participate in cross-coverage and other assigned duties as needed
Education & Experience
Active certification as a NCMA, CMA (AAMA), RMA, or CCMA required
Previous Medical Assistant experience required
Grace period available for new hires to obtain BCLS/ACLS certification if enrolled in the next CVM-hosted class
Skills & Abilities
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Detail-oriented with a positive attitude
Comfortable using computer systems and learning new technologies
Monday–Friday Schedule – No nights or weekends!
